Married!!!!......Sort of :op

Allen and I were talking about this for a while. I know He wanted to do it sooner. But I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it this way. But a week ago we decided. I did some research to see what we needed to do. And what we needed to bring. I called to set up the appointment. Then we announced it to our families. March 5th would be the day well go to the court house and Allen and I would get married. :oD Now this was just to make things official and right. But we are still having a regular wedding and reception in July. It's hard to get an official date because his best man is in the Air Force Academy and we pretty much have to work around his schedule. But we will figure something out. So the big day was today. I wore a white sun dress and my special custom converse for the wedding. Allen found a nice outfit that coordinated well with mine and he wore his new custom converse as well. It was an interesting process. And I was kind of nervous because this was the first time both families had met. But they all seemed to get a long ok. Allen and I had to fill out some paper work then we waited. There were a few couples before us. And then when it was our turn we were so excited and so were our families. We went into the room which is basically a few cubical walls put together. the family squeezed in and we proceeded with the judge and ceremony we exchanged vows and rings. And He surprised me with a dip when we kissed. We took a million pictures in the room and outside the government center where they have these neat huge trees. My sister took pictures there when she married her husband the same way. It was fun. So afterwords we went out to eat at this delicious chinese restaurant Allen's family introduced me to. It's been one of my favs ever sense. We had the party room reserved except we didnt completely fill it so we had a random chinese family in there with us part of the time. It was great everyone got to know each other better. And they made Allen and I kiss a million times. Which isn't a bad thing :) we ate our fill and then it was time to go ice skating!!! we rished over there because we lost track of time at the restaurant quickly changed and went skating. It took a while for the rest of them to show up. But they did eventually and we all had a wonderful time. A lot of funny falls. My brother ate it pretty hard while racing Allen's cousin. And some of us even me fell just by losing balance on the ice. I was just standing and fell! lol I got ice all over me hahahah We took lots of pictures and were very tired afterwards. Most people went home. Allen and I stopped by the house then went to Camarillo to meet up with his mom and dad and Sister and her husband. Yay inlaws!!! lol they treated us to dinner which was awful generous considering they also paid for everyone's lunch! You guys rock! then they took us to Rocket Fizz where we got some awesome candy and Sodas. I love that place. Was a very eventful day and needless to say we knocked out when we got home. haha There are lots of pictures on my facebook. Too many to post here. But I will post a few good moments. :D

Kitten Update!

Good news!!!!! After a nice Valentines day we found out we can keep the kittens!!!! We all pulled together and formed a plan. Then my mom talked to my dad and assured him the only thing he would need to do is have fun with them and enjoy them. The vet bills and food and litter and what not are all on us. Each couple has taken 2 kittens. Allen and I took Marble and The white one. Which we have renamed Crookshanks and Masha. Crookshanks is the orange one and Masha is the white one. My brother and his girlfriend took the grey striped one formerly Sasha and now Skittle and the Black one now named Helios. And my sister and her husband took the two cheetah twins which they have named peace and courage. My brothers gf got some information at petsmart about an affordable kitten plan. $30 a month and they are covered on a lot of the things we would normally have to pay a ton of money for. So when we are ready and they are ready we can enroll them. We are so Happy!!!

Newbies

Today Adam brought two more kittens!!! He claims they are from the same litter......uhhhh one is pure balck and the other is white with bright blue eyes and a little orange here and there. And both are a bit bigger than the rest. I don't think any of us believe they are from the same litter but who knows. We don't have names yet we are all trying not to be attached but we all secretly are even my mom lol Which is usually a good sign we might keep them. If we can pull together and be responsible for them and keep it non stressful for my dad then we may have a chance. It's been a few weeks but they still aren't old enough or fat enough to get fixed. So we gotta keep trying. Luckily none of them have worms which is a miracle considering most kittens are born with them.
Here are the two newbies:

Foster Kittes

Today at work our dear friend Adam from animal control was talking to my sister and mentioned he had picked up 4 kittens 3 girls 1 boy. They were under weight and so they couldn't get spayed and neutered. Which means they couldn't get adopted out. Which then = Euthanization!!!! If they were to get taken to the pound today then they would have been put down. It sounds kind of fishy to me but either way my family couldn't let 4 baby kittens get put down when we could easily foster them and fatten them up. We have them for two weeks. Then we shall see what happens.

Here are some pictures of the cuties

It's going to be hard to part with them when the time comes. They are so full of personality. Right now we have temporary names the gray one is Sasha, the darker orange is Marble because of her markings and the other two we refere to as the cheetah twins.

Boo on them!

Well they finally announced the top 10 couples for the Southern California Dream Wedding and Allen and I apparently didn't make the cut. I say Boo on them!!! But it's cool I mean good for the other couples. Plus I was starting to have second thoughts on the contest after I read some of the terms of agreement. Seeing as it is a contest the winners have to pay tax on every free item they win. Which was a lot. and the other thing was Allen and I weren't really getting our hopes up so we had already started planing as a plan B. But plan B was starting to sound better than the contest. Sure having everything paid for would have been nice but was it really paid for with all the tax? And we would have been limited to only the vendors they provided. We already started customizing and planing what we liked and wanted and we wouldn't have been able to do that with this contest. So all in all guess it's not too much of a loss. My mom did find another contest that is at Wedgewood Golf Club in Sterling Hills Camarillo. I looked it over and almost entered but it was too similar to the other contest and Allen and I decided to just keep planning on our own. We already have some custom shoes ordered and decided on a color scheme for the wedding. And are still working out who will be in the wedding party. I think it will be more special sense we worked for it and planed it to what we like than just having the whole thing handed to us. It may just take a little longer because we have to use our own money. We are both still very excited :D

3 years!!!!

Allen and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary. It's been 3 years sense we started dating! Crazy! We have been through a lot of trials and tribulations but we have come out ok and are very in love and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. To celebrate we spent the weekend relaxin in Simi Valley. Friday we just relaxed at our hotel because we got there kind of late. We just watched movies. Saturday we went to the Simi Valley Town Center and walked around the outside mall. Was kind of chilly. We saw these weird fountains outside.

Later for dinner we went to Bucca Di Beppo I had never been there before and it was quite delicious!!!!

We went back to the hotel and hung out. The first night there we went to the hotels mini mart area and got some snacks and while we were looking through the brochures we found a coupon for the LA Zoo. Neither of us had been to a zoo in ages, so after dinner before bed we decided we would go the next day.

we spent all day at the zoo. It was surprisingly empty. But kinda nice to not have to walk around through crowds and dodge people. Although it seemed like every time Allen and I were enjoying a nice quiet area watching animals taking pics and video some family would walk up with all their loud children with no sense of personal space. And we would have to quickly move on. Oh well. We still had a lot of fun. And I got a lot of pictures and video. Putting it all on here would take way too long. All the pics are on my facebook and im still working on putting vids on facebook and youtube.

Here's one for good measure lol
