Allen and I entered a contest! We realize this is a long shot but it is worth a try. We want to have a wedding but right now there is no way we could ever afford it anytime soon. Especially with Allen's recent job loss and the fact we just don't make that kind of money. My mom found this contest in the news paper so we entered. You can read about it here:

It would be a dream come true if we won. Right now it's a waiting game because they are still collecting couples stories. The last Day is Jan 31st. Here's the timeline.
Timeline
October 18, 2009: Contest officially begins.
October 18, 2009 to January 31, 2010: Southern California Dream Wedding Giveaway contest runs. Couples are encouraged to submit their Dream Couple™ love stories at this time. Couples profiles and stories will be posted on the Website.
January 31, 2010 to February 2, 2010: The Dream Crew™ chooses the Top 10 Dream Couples™.
February 3, 2010: Top 10 Dream Couples™ revealed.
February 3, 2010 to February 11, 2010: Public voting of favorite Top 3 Dream Couples™.
February 12, 2010: Top 3 Dream Couples™ revealed.
February 14, 2010: The winning Dream Couple™ chosen by The Dream Sponsors™.
February 15, 2010: The winning Dream Couple™ announced and revealed.
March 1, 2010: The wedding planning with The Dream Couple™ begins.
Friday, June 25, 2010: The Dream Couple's™ Wedding Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner for up to 50 guests at Camarillo Ranch in Camarillo, California.
Sunday, June 27, 2010: The Dream Couple's™ $100,000 Dream Wedding and Reception for up to 100 guests (DO NOT enter the contest if you cannot get married on this date) at Rancho de Las Palmas in Moorpark, California.
