Newbies

Today Adam brought two more kittens!!! He claims they are from the same litter......uhhhh one is pure balck and the other is white with bright blue eyes and a little orange here and there. And both are a bit bigger than the rest. I don't think any of us believe they are from the same litter but who knows. We don't have names yet we are all trying not to be attached but we all secretly are even my mom lol Which is usually a good sign we might keep them. If we can pull together and be responsible for them and keep it non stressful for my dad then we may have a chance. It's been a few weeks but they still aren't old enough or fat enough to get fixed. So we gotta keep trying. Luckily none of them have worms which is a miracle considering most kittens are born with them.
Here are the two newbies:

Foster Kittes

Today at work our dear friend Adam from animal control was talking to my sister and mentioned he had picked up 4 kittens 3 girls 1 boy. They were under weight and so they couldn't get spayed and neutered. Which means they couldn't get adopted out. Which then = Euthanization!!!! If they were to get taken to the pound today then they would have been put down. It sounds kind of fishy to me but either way my family couldn't let 4 baby kittens get put down when we could easily foster them and fatten them up. We have them for two weeks. Then we shall see what happens.

Here are some pictures of the cuties

It's going to be hard to part with them when the time comes. They are so full of personality. Right now we have temporary names the gray one is Sasha, the darker orange is Marble because of her markings and the other two we refere to as the cheetah twins.

Boo on them!

Well they finally announced the top 10 couples for the Southern California Dream Wedding and Allen and I apparently didn't make the cut. I say Boo on them!!! But it's cool I mean good for the other couples. Plus I was starting to have second thoughts on the contest after I read some of the terms of agreement. Seeing as it is a contest the winners have to pay tax on every free item they win. Which was a lot. and the other thing was Allen and I weren't really getting our hopes up so we had already started planing as a plan B. But plan B was starting to sound better than the contest. Sure having everything paid for would have been nice but was it really paid for with all the tax? And we would have been limited to only the vendors they provided. We already started customizing and planing what we liked and wanted and we wouldn't have been able to do that with this contest. So all in all guess it's not too much of a loss. My mom did find another contest that is at Wedgewood Golf Club in Sterling Hills Camarillo. I looked it over and almost entered but it was too similar to the other contest and Allen and I decided to just keep planning on our own. We already have some custom shoes ordered and decided on a color scheme for the wedding. And are still working out who will be in the wedding party. I think it will be more special sense we worked for it and planed it to what we like than just having the whole thing handed to us. It may just take a little longer because we have to use our own money. We are both still very excited :D
